Welcome to Laura Keller Photo! After nine years with pretty much the same old and outdated design, it was time for an upgrade! I decided to revamp my entire photography business with this new website. And today is the day it officially launches – how exciting!
After 40+ hours of work, editing new content and posting new offers, I have never been happier with how a site looks than now. Take a peek and check out some new offerings I have created.
Who Am I?
My name is Laura and I have been an avid photographer since 2011 – more than a decade at this point. Had someone asked me as a teenager or young adult how I imagined my future, I would have never pictured myself owning my own business and doing what I do – but life is what we make of it. And the more we realize this, the more we create our reality.
Around the same time I became a photographer, I also became a female solo traveler – not always to my liking or at my own choice but nowadays I have to say it’s made me stronger and more independent than ever before. What started as consciously choosing to explore more of this world (and seldom having friends who were able to accompany me) has turned into seeing 45+ countries (and the majority of US states) at this point. An accomplishment, which can only be topped by future travel plans and adventures.
One can therefore say photography and travel are my true passions – and combined they make out for amazing group tours, which I plan to lead (more info below). My experience as a female solo traveler to places in the world is invaluable to some – and I am sure you will be able to benefit from it. Stay tuned for more blog posts on it!
What’s new at Laura Keller Photo?
Are you interested in group tours? Starting in 2024 I will be offering tours to exotic places for the adventure traveler. Some of these tours will be photographic journeys but some will also be for the “regular” traveler who would love to go to places considered high-risk or dangerous but not necessarily do so alone. Tour groups will be capped at 6-10 people – to keep them small and intimate and to make the most of your vacation experience. If you always wanted to go to the Middle East and see a few of the world wonders or visit the culinary flavors of Italy – now is the time! Find all info on my tour page.
This year I am also launching my very first online courses! If you were curious to learn the basics of photography, how to do long exposures right, how to capture nature and landscapes in a stunning way or how to dive into light painting – stay tuned for the course announcements!
And of course you can always order high-quality prints, postcards and wall art of any image you see listed on my website in my gallery or in my blog. Or if you’ve seen anything floating around my social media in the most recent years, which you really want a print of.
Stay tuned for my 2024 calendar coming out this fall! Approximate release date will be October or early November of 2023.
And if you missed the announcement a little while ago, I was able to self-publish my first photography book! 14mm New York is a masterpiece and collection of images all around New York during blue hour and beyond. 76 pages of goodies – at an affordable price!
Of course I am always available for online or in-person 1:1 mentorships, coaching sessions and portrait bookings (in the NYC area). Simply contact me and let me know what you’re interested in. We can then work out a schedule.
